The Women Industrialists Business Council was established in 2023 by a decision of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Palestinian Industries, as a women-led industrial umbrella that brings together active women industrialists and owners of women-led industrial projects and companies. The Council operates in accordance with the laws, internal regulations, and bylaws of the Federation of Palestinian Industries, with the aim of empowering women entrepreneurs in the industrial sector and strengthening their role in economic development.
The Council seeks to economically and financially empower women business owners by attracting support from donor institutions, contributing to capacity building through the implementation of specialized training and development programs. It also represents its members effectively and advocates for their interests before local, regional, and international institutions, while supporting industrial development and enhancing the competitiveness of women-led industrial projects.
Furthermore, the Council aims to increase the market share of its members’ products and facilitate access to soft or zero-interest financing through joint funding programs with banks and local lending institutions, supporting the sustainability and growth of women-led industrial enterprises and maximizing their economic and social impact.
